NITRITE & BORAX BASED CORROSION & SCALE INHIBITOR FOR CLOSED RECIRCULATION SYSTEM
NT-200 is a clear liquid combination of nitrite, borate, and triazole corrosion inhibitor (containing no chromate or phosphate) designed to control pitting and galvanic action in closed recirculating hot and chilled water systems.
The non-chromate, non-phosphate, non-toxic nature of NT-200 makes it possible for plants to treat their hot and chilled water systems without the danger of creating pollution problems.
NT-200 is specifically designed for control of corrosion, pitting, and galvanic action in closed systems where dissimilar metals may be present.
Normally, the treatment should be used in a sufficient quantity to maintain a sodium nitrite residual of 650-1200 ppm. After an initial dosage of NT-200 in the system, a maintenance dosage is generally performed due to weekly blowdown and water losses. Maintenance dosage will be calculated by a Maxon Representative by measuring water loss and water nitrite level.
NT-200 is not used on a regular basis; hence feeding is one-time and mostly done manually. Maxon Representative will guide and demonstrate the feeding procedure and quantity best suited to the system in question.
Use all safety procedures before handling. Keep in a well-ventilated place. Do not store this material near food, feed, or drinking water. Do not store in metallic containers. Use only recommended materials for storage. Consult MSDS for other safety information.
NT-200 comes in containers conforming to performance and mobility-oriented packaging specifications, in the following sizes:
