Treatment For cooling Water

NI-401

POLY-PHOSPHATE & SULPHONATE BASED
CORROSION AND SCALE INHIBITOR
FOR CHILL WATER SYSTEM

PRODUCT DATASHEET

Product Description

NI-401 is a Polymer based, phosphate & sulfonate, non-chromate totally organic cooling water corrosion inhibitor. It contains elite line polymers and sequestering agents which breakdown scale and sludge and forms effective chelates with active ions. Polymerized hexamer provides a monomolecular film on metal surfaces for inhibiting corrosion and scale formation.

NI-401 is a very effective, oxygen scavenger, scale inhibitor, corrosion inhibitor and protective chemical. This product is especially useful when used at very low treatment levels to control fouling in high make-up cooling systems where conventional treatment would not be economical.

Advantages

  • Good Oxygen scavenging ability
  • Keeps scaling matter in non-depositable ionic state
  • Corrosion inhibitor
  • Anti-foulant properties disperse mud, silt, and dirt
  • Effective over a Stability Index range of 5.5 to 7.5
  • Able to penetrate fouling and protect underlying metal surfaces from corrosion

Dosage

NI-401 dosage depends on analysis of makeup water, cycles of concentration and operation duration etc. A primitive dosage rate, calculated by Maxon Engineer, is added to makeup water. For operation initialization or startups, dose triple the amount of recommended dosage for system cleanup and to form protective film.

Feeding

NI-401 must be fed continuously to the recirculation systems by chemical proportioning feeders on recommended rate. Automated Systems with chemical feed and bleed in direct proportion to circulating water TDS levels are available.

Handling

Store in moderate dry place. Store in a tightly closed container at moderate temperature, do not freeze or cool. Wash thoroughly after handling. Use only in a well-ventilated area. Avoid contact with skin, eyes, and clothing. Do not inhale or ingest.

Packaging

NI-401 Comes in containers conforming to Performance Oriented Packaging Specifications, in the following sizes:

  • 30 Kg PE Container
  • 210 Kg PE container &
  • 1 metric ton IBC cage tanks.

BC-1

PH MAINTAINER FOR COOLING WATER SYSTEM & HVAC

PRODUCT DATASHEET

Product Description

BC-1 is an effective pH maintainer for cooling water systems. BC-1 is a very effective blend of (Brønsted-Lowry mechanism) H-positive ion donor acids, hence resulting in hydronium ions and neutralization reaction with alkaline-based ions. This promotes easy and safe pH maintenance without disturbing other water treatment chemicals included in water. The innovative formulation of BC-1 not only maintains pH levels but also diminishes scale-forming ions to an extent. The combined action of hydronium ions and the neutralization reaction of H-positive ions makes this product a safer way to maintain system pH levels without sacrificing the performance of other treatment chemicals like anti-scalants, etc.

Advantages

  • Rapid pH maintaining action
  • Safe approach
  • Corrosion inhibited
  • Supports other Maxon water treatment chemicals
  • Environmentally friendly

Dosage

BC-1 dosage is calculated based on raw water quality, system capacity, ongoing treatment, and other factors. A Maxon Engineer calculates and recommends the best dosage rate after analysis and data collection. Dosage can vary based on scaling, system operation time, and other factors. Automated dosing, using a pH-based dosage controlling device, is recommended for optimal performance. Such automatic controlling and dosing instruments are available.

Feeding

BC-1 pH maintainer should be dosed via feeding systems controlled by pH monitoring devices. A Maxon Engineer will calibrate these devices and set them to the recommended pH value. However, in manual dosage, use a plastic measuring jar and dose the recommended quantity directly into the water body. Consult the MSDS for safety measures.

Handling

Keep in a well-ventilated place. Do not store this material near food, feed, or drinking water. Do not store in metallic containers. Use only recommended materials for storage. Consult the MSDS for other safety information.

Packaging

BC-1 comes in containers conforming to Performance Oriented Packaging Specifications, in the following sizes:
  • 30 kg PE Container
  • On special request: 210 kg PE container & 1 metric ton IBC cage tanks.
